How to update Linksys router’s firmware?

Download and save the updated firmware file from Linksys official site.
Open your web browser and type 192.168.1.1 in the address section, the router’s setup page will open up.
Select the Administration option and then click Firmware Upgrade.
Select Browse button and locate the file that you have downloaded, select it and then click Open.
After this click Start Upgrade. A warning window will appear stating not to interrupt.
Click on Continue when the prompt appears stating that the Upgrade has been successful.
Now unplug the router for 10 sec and then plug-in again.
Now your router’s firmware has been updated.
